Creating glamour is not new to Kathy. She launched the high-performing fashion label Hip Hop in 1985, and built it up to be one of the few independent clothing design houses in South Africa with its own chain of stores.
The eye-catching, aesthetically superior Hip Hop fashion shows, conceived by Kathy, have for years been highlights on the South African fashion calendar. From trapeze artists swinging across the ceiling at the Cape Town International Convention Centre to Afro-chic ensembles, Kathy's shows created a multi-media sensation, and she has continued to develop fabulous, stylish and unforgettable events since.
Now famous for events that are refreshingly different and weddings that are exquisite, her talent for all things witty, pretty and fun, sexy and sophisticated has made her the stylist of choice on all things hip and happening.
Kathy is a fashion veteran and her philosphy is, to coin a maxim of Yves Saint-Laurent, while "fashions fade, style is eternal".

Jade realised her talent for logistics and project management during her employment with Interactive Africa as one of two key project staff of the world-renowned design show: Design Indaba. She fulfilled the role of Project Manager with much acclaim for the 2007 and 2008 shows. Perhaps the most exciting recent position held was that of Festival Director for the KWV 10 Music Festival where she coordinated the performances of various local artists as well as international soul legend, Chaka Khan of "I'm every woman" fame. The latter's manager described the organisation of the concert as 'world class'. Further clients have included the Cape Town Partnership, Woolworths and House and Leisure.
